Debora Brownyard, JD – Debora is Director of the Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution and former executive director of the Nebraska Justice Center, a practicing attorney mediator, and adjunct faculty member with the Creighton University School of Law. She has a background in family, organizational, special education, public policy, and Native American law and has significant mediation, training, systems design and curriculum development experience in these and other fields. She is co-author of the Nebraska Family Mediation Manual and the Nebraska Family Group Conferencing Manual.
Lynne Favinger, MA – Lynne is the executive director of Central Mediation Center and a practicing mediator and facilitator. Lynne has a Masters of Arts in Education with an emphasis on speech communication. Her background includes teaching, small business management, and human resources. Lynne is a certified trainer in “Achieve Global” (previously Zenger Miller) and “Investment in Excellence” programs.
Jody Gittins, JD - Jody graduated from University of Nebraska Law School in 1983, and licensed to practice law in Texas, Illinois, and Nebraska. She has been employed by the State of Nebraska for 20 years with the Nebraska Legislature, serving as Legal Counsel for the Natural Resources Committee, and more recently as an Assistant Attorney General for the Nebraska Game & Parks. Jody is a certified mediator with the Resolution Center, and is trained in basic, family, federal, and victim/offender mediation. Additionally, she has been involved in the facilitation process of the Water Policy Task Force.
David A. Hubbard, J.D. – David is Director of Facilitation and Training at The Mediation Center, an experienced attorney, business executive, adjunct undergraduate professor, adjunct faculty at UNL College of Law, private mediator and facilitator; approved as a local rule 4.3 mediator in Douglas County, and approved as a federal mediator. David’s mediation and facilitation skills have been refined through hundreds of hours of training through the likes of Harvard’s Program on Negotiation, Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, American Bar Association, and hundreds of mediations and facilitations. David is a member of ASTD and an Executive Committee Member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution section of the Nebraska State Bar Association.
Jane Martin-Hoffman – Jane is the executive director of Nebraska Justice Center. Jane received her B.S. in Business and Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She also did graduate studies and thesis work in Industrial Psychology at San Francisco State University. Jane is an active mediator practicing Specialized ADR, parenting plans, small claims, victim-offender, juvenile justice, family group conferencing, general mediation cases, and conducts facilitations for Nebraska HHS and community based organizations.
