Purpose & Mission

Nebraska Mediation Association is a non-profit membership association that is governed by a 12-member Board of Directors. Our focus is to:

• Provide information on mediation and the benefits of conflict engagement
• Publish an online directory to help people find a mediator
• Train people in the mediation process
• Provide opportunities to mediators for professional development.

The Nebraska Mediation Association's mission is to be a statewide network of mediators that develops, implements and sustains quality conflict resolution, mediation, and consensus-building. The NMA promotes mediation, and supports and provides training and educational opportunities for all mediators in the State of Nebraska. Through this member network, NMA provides links, resources, and enhanced opportunities among mediation professionals.
